Ride2Work is a national program that encourages Australians to ride to work all-year-round.
Ride2Work Day is held annually to celebrate riding as a form of commuting to work. It encourages people who have never ridden to work before to give it a go, and it allows frequent riders to stay motivated and encourage their workmates to get involved.

For 2014, Ride2Work Day will be held on Wednesday 15 October. Registration is free! By registering your involvement in Ride2Work Day you are showing your support.
If you're a first-timer, or need asisstance determining the best route to take for your morning commute, there are a number of rider meeting points from Gordonvale to the Northern Beaches. To join a "group ride" simply be at a designated meeting point prior to its departure time. Experienced riders will lead the groups into the city at a comfortable pace.
Cairns Regional Council will host its annual Ride2Work Day FREE breakfast on the Cairns Esplanade (near the lagoon) between 6:30-9am. Along with a free breakfast, riders are welcome to enjoy a free massage and bike servicing.
